6-Hour Parole: Gangster Kala Jathedi Marries ‘Revolver Rani’ In Delhi Under Heavy Security Cover

New Delhi: Gangster Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi and Anuradha Choudhary alias Madam Minz tied the knot at a banquet hall in Delhi’s Dwarka area on Tuesday amid heavy police security.

According to reports, the banquet hall at Santosh Garden in Dwarka Sector-3 booked by Jathedi’s lawyer, Rohit Dalal, for Rs 51,000, was guarded by around 200 policemen. A SWAT team from Delhi Police Special Cell and Third Battalion were also pressed into service.

Jathedi, who is currently lodged in Tihar jail, was granted a six-hour parole for the wedding by a Delhi court on humanitarian grounds. Dalal had sought the parole on the ground that both Jathedi and Anuradha were of legal age for marriage as per the Hindu Marriage Act.

The duo was arrested in July 2021 from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Anuradha, however, was later granted bail.

Keeping in mind the gangster’s previous record, police had made heavy security arrangements in and around the wedding venue hall to avert any incident.

Jathedi is from Jathedi village in Sonipat Haryana while Anuradha is from Alafsar village in Sikar district of Haryana.

Jathedi is allegedly involved in more than 30 killings in Delhi, Rajasthan, UP, Haryana and Uttarakhand and is a close associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He is known for extorting money from liquor businessmen and bookies in Haryana. Anuradha, known as Revolver Rani, is also a member of Jatheri’s gang and faces several criminal charges, including kidnapping, murder and extortion.
