6 MEMU Passenger Trains In Odisha To Be Cancelled Till June 10; Details Here

Bhubaneswar: Six pairs of local passenger/MEMU trains have been cancelled by East Coast Railway (ECoR) till June 10 from both directions. This is in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases amid the second wave of pandemic and to break the chain of infection, as well as poor patronisation.

Some other train services have been cancelled or limited/truncated as well.

Also, ECoR has decided to keep open Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters open till 8 pm till the lockdown is in force.

FOLLOWING TRAINS TO REMAIN CANCELLED FROM JUNE 1 to 10:

* 08456/08455 Bhubaneswar-Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar Special

* 08412/08411 Bhubaneswar-Bhadrak-Bhubaneswar Special

* 08438/08437 Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack Special

* 08461/08462 Cuttack-Paradeep-Cuttack Special

* 08454/08453 Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack Special

* 08493/08494 Bhubaneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar Special

FOLLOWING TRAINS TO BE CANCELLED ON SPECIFIC DATES:

* 08528/08527 Visakhapatnam-Raipur-Visakhapatnam Special from Visakhapatnam from June 1 to 10, and from Raipur from June 2 to 11

* 08445/08446 Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Special from Bhubaneswar from June 1 to 10, and from Jagadalpur from June 2 to 11

* 08515/08516 Visakhapatnam-Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Special from Visakhapatnam from June 1 to 10, and from Kirandul from June 2 to 11

* 08561/08562 Visakhapatnam-Kacheguda-Visakhapatnam Special from Visakhapatnam from June 1 to 10, and from Kacheguda from June 2 to 11

* 02882/02881 Bhubaneswar-Pune-Bhubaneswar Special from Bhubaneswar on June 1 & 8, and from Pune on June 3 & 10

* 02882/02881 Puri-LTT-Puri Special from Puri on June 1 & 8, and from LTT on June 3 & 10

* 028820/02879 Bhubaneswar-LTT-Bhubaneswar Special from Bhubaneswar on May 31 & June 3, 7, 10, and from LTT on June 2, 5, 9 & 12

* 07488/07487 Visakhapatnam-Cuddapah-Visakhapatnam Special from Visakhapatnam from June 1 to 10, and from Cuddapah June 2 to 11

* 02831/02832 Visakhapatnam-Lingampalli-Visakhapatnam Special from Visakhapatnam from June 1 to 10, and from Lingampalli from June 2 to 11

FOLLOWING TRAINS TO BE CANCELLED ON WEEKENDS (JUNE 5 & 6):

* 08428/08427 Puri-Angul-Puri Special

* 08432/08431 Puri-Cuttack-Puri Special

* 08433/08434 Bhubanewar-Palasa-Bhubaneswar Special

* 02892/02891 Bhubaneswar-Bangiriposi-Bhubaneswar Special

* 08301/08302 Sambalpur-Rayagada-Sambalpur Special

FOLLOWING TRAINS TO BE PARTIALLY CANCELLED:

* 08428/08427 Puri-Angul-Puri Special from June 1 to 4, and from June 7 to 10 will run between Puri & Talcher and will remain cancelled between Talcher & Angul from both directions

* 08301/08302 Sambalpur-Rayagada-Sambalpur Special from June 1 to 4, and from June 7 to 10 will run between Sambalpur & Titilagarh and will remain cancelled between Titilagarh & Rayagada from both directions

* 02097/02098 Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road-Bhubaneswar Special from Bhubaneswar from June 1 to 10, and from Junagarh Road from June 2 to 11 will run between Bhubaneswar & Rayagada and will remain cancelled between Rayagada & Junagarh Road from both directions

RAJDHANI SPECIALS TO RUN TWICE A WEEK AS FOLLOWS:

* 02823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express Special via Tata will run on Tuesdays from Bhubaneswar up to June 10. On remaining days this train will remain cancelled from June 3

* 02824 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express Special via Tata will run on Wednesdays from New Delhi during the period. On remaining days this train will remain cancelled till June 10

* 02825/02826 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express Special via Adra from Bhubaneswar will run on Sundays and from New Delhi will run on Mondays during the period. This train will remain cancelled on June 2 & 9 from Bhubaneswar and on June 4 & 11 from New Delhi

* 02855/02856 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express Special via Sambalpur City & Rourkela will remain cancelled on June 5 from Bhubaneswar and on June 6 from New Delhi.
