9 More OAS Officers Transferred Ahead Of 2024 Elections In Odisha
Bhubaneswar: With simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections just weeks away, the Odisha government has transferred another 9 OAS officers.

>> Sambit Kumar Garnayak. Additional District Magistrate, Sambalpur has transferred and posted as Additional District Magistrate, Bhadrak.
>> Alomani Sethi, PD (R&R), Jharsuguda has been transferred and posted as Additional District Magistrate, Koraput.
>> Prasana Kumar Patra, who served as Additional District Magistrate, Koraput, is allowed to continue as General Manager, RIC, Ganjam.
>> Priyadarshini Mallick, Additional District Magistrate, Balasore, and Secretary, CDA, Cuttack, has been posted as Joint Secretary to Government, F & ARD Department.
>> Falguni Majhi. PA, ITDA, Paralakhemundi, and Additional EO, Zilla Parishad, Rayagada, has been posted as Sub-Collector, Anandapur, Keonjhar.
>> Chittaranjan Mohanta, Sub-Collector, Anandapur, Keonlhar, has been transferred and posted as Sub-Collector, Kandhamal.
>> Gayatri Datta Nayak, Managing Director, Aska Co-operative Sugar Industries Ltd, and Land officer, ldco, Bhubaneswar, is allowed to continue as Managing Director, Aska co-operative Sugar Industries Ltd.

The notification was issued by the General Administration department on Thursday.
On February 27, the government had effected a reshuffle in the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) cadre and transferred 35 officers, serving as BDO and deputy collectors.
The transfers have come amid a directive from Election Commission of India, asking the state governments to ensure that officials transferred out of a district after serving three years are not posted in another district within the same parliamentary constituency.
