Berhampur: A 95-year-old man of Ganjam district has recovered from the COVID-19.
Udayanath Bisoyi of Chakunda village under Surada block was discharged from Tata COVID hospital at Sitalapalli after he recovered from COVID-19 on July 18. He is claimed to be the oldest man in Odisha to have won the battle against the disease.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated Bisoyi after his recovery. “Your win will inspire others to stay strong as Odisha fights this pandemic,” he said.
Earlier, an 85-year-old cancer patient and his septuagenarian wife had recovered from the disease in Kenrdrapara district after treatment for 10 days at a COVID hospital in Cuttack.
