Bhubaneswar: Sridhar Patra, Director (Finance) of the Navaratna PSU National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) was given additional charge of chairman-cum-managing director (CMD) on Friday.
Patra will take charge from the outgoing CMD Tapan Chand on December 1 as the latter will retire on November 30.

According to a notification by the Ministry of Finance, Patro will hold additional charge of CMD for three months from December 1.
A graduate in Commerce from Utkal University, Patra is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He completed his MBA (HRD) from Vidya Sagar University and has contributed as an academic apart from his professional employment in PSUs.
