The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) released three recruitment notifications on its official website on Saturday, inviting online applications for filling up 215 vacancies for scientists, Engineers, Technical Assistant and Technician–B posts.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the advertised posts from December 16 to December 30.
The VSSC is the leading centre of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under the Department of Space (DOS), Government of India. It pioneers in rocket research and launch vehicle projects of ISRO.
Vacancy Details – The total number of vacancies is 215 and the job openings are for various posts. Candidates can check the official notifications for details regarding the vacancies.
Educational Qualification – The required educational qualifications for various posts are different and are as per the stated job’s requirements. Some required qualifications as per notifications, are –
- SSLC/SSC/10th Class Pass
- ITI/NTC/NAC in Fitter Trade.
- ITI/NTC/NAC in Electronic Mechanic Trade.
- NAC in Boiler Attendant Trade OR Boiler Attendant Certificate issued by Directorate of Factories & Boilers.
- Doctorate in Physics with specialisation in Atmospheric / Space Science with Sc. or equivalent in Physics.
- Doctorate in Physics/ Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology / Space Science / Planetary Science with
- Post-Graduation in Physics/Atmospheric Science/Space
- First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR Equivalent
Age Limit – Candidates must be between 35 and 40 years as on 31.12.2019. In case of some jobs, there is no upper age limit.
