North Korea’s First Coronavirus Positive Case Shot Dead

North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un ordered the execution of the first person who tested positive for Coronavirus in the country, according to an IB Times report quoting a Twitter account.

Earlier, the dictator had warned officials that “if the infectious disease, which is spreading beyond control finds its way into North Korea, it will entail serious consequences”.

Those showing symptoms are reportedly quarantined for a month.

Neighbouring South Korea reported a record 813 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday bringing the total to 3,150, the highest number of cases outside China.
