Cuttack: Two minor girls drowned while bathing in a pond at Bhuska village near Nuagada in Cuttack district on Monday morning.
According to reports, Pujarini Sahu and Shraddha Pradhan had slipped into deep waters of the pond while bathing and drowned. Later, some villagers fished out the two girls and rushed them to a hospital. But they had died by then.
Villagers said both victims were students of Class IV.
