“I have requested you all to follow certain regulations and I am grateful to you all for having followed them,” he said.

Launching the Mo Jeevan programme, the CM, in a video message, stressed the gravity of the situation and said that it our responsibility to not allow the infection enter our home.

“Our safety is in our own hands. It depends on our behaviour. If you are alert and watchful, this virus cannot enter your home,” he said and asked the people to take a pledge.

THE PLEDGE

I promise in the name of my children and parents that I will not go out during this period. If I have to go out to attend to some emergency task then I will wash my hands after returning and before entering the house.

Naveen said that people should read this pledge every day and put it up at the entrace to their house. They should also post video of them reading this pledge to create awareness, he added.
