India No More The No. 1 Test Side, For The First Time Since Oct. 2016

New Delhi: Virat Kohli’s men are no longer the No. 1 Test side in the world. As per the latest ICC list, Australia are atop the Test rankings, pushing India to No. 3. India had been top of the pile in cricket’s longest form since October 2016.

Australia are No. 1 in not only Tests, but in T20 Internationals also. England retain their top spot in One-Day Internationals.

India are second in ODI rankings and third in both Tests and T20Is.

In T20Is, Australia took over the numero uno spot from Pakistan.

In Test rankings, Australia (116 points) are followed by New Zealand (115) and India (114). India were outplayed in their last Test series, losing 0-2 to New Zealand in New Zealand.

India still lead the ICC World Test Championship, which is being contested by the top nine Test sides on a league basis over six series played by each team.
