Lockdown Extended To May 31, Economic Activities To Open Up

New Delhi: The Central Government has extended the nationwide lockdown for fourth time till May 31.

In an order to the Union and State governments, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has directed to continue the lockdown to prevent spread of coronavirus. It has also directed the ministries and departments to take adequate measures to contain the virus.

However, it has allowed both the governments to open up economic activities while following the containment measures during the extended lockdown period.
