Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 75 new corona positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 2856 on Sunday.
According to Health Department sources, 72 among these fresh cases have been detected in quarantine centres while three are local contacts.
Khurda and Sundargarh reported the highest of 18 new cases each, followed by Jajpur (7), five each in Balangir and Cuttack, Nayagarh (4), three each in Kendrapada and Sonepur, two each in Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Koraput and one each in Puri, Nuapada, Keonjhar and Ganjam.
With nine deaths and 1716 recoveries, Odisha now has 1129 active cases.
