Three Corona Warriors Among 9 New Cases In Odisha Capital, One From City Slum
Bhubaneswar: Three among the nine new coronavirus cases detected in the Odisha capital are employees of a COVID hospital here.
Besides three corona warriors, four new patients with travel history to Delhi, Kolkata and Bihar were in home quarantine. The remaining two are local contacts.
NEW CASES
-A 29-year-old woman of BDA, Chandrasekharpur with a travel history to Bihar.
-A 46-year-old man of Bhimpur near Airport with a travel history to Delhi.
-A 26-year-old woman of Bhimpur near Unit-6 with a travel history to Kolkata.
-A 19-year-old man of Nirankari Nagar of Salia Sahi, who is linked with an earlier positive with a travel history to New Delhi.
The two local cases are from Mahima Nagar and they belong to the same family. They are a 53-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy linked with an earlier COVID patient, who is an employee of a private hospital in the city.
Meanwhile, a patient from Dumduma has recovered from the infection, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation tweeted.
The fresh cases have taken the affected tally in Bhubaneswar to 158. With three deaths and 82 recoveries, the city now has 72 active cases.
