COVID-19 Tally Crosses 7 Lakh In India; Recovery Rate Improves To 60.86%
New Delhi: India logged a single-day spike of 22,252 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the country’s tally of positive cases to 7,19,665 on Tuesday.
A total of 467 patients have succumbed to COVID-19 infections across the country taking the death toll to 20,160, the Union Health Ministry said.
According to the Indian Council Of Medical Research, 1,02,11,092 samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far completing over 10 Million (one crore) tests across the nation, including 2,41,230 on Monday.
On a positive note, recovery cases (4,39,447) have surpassed the active cases by 1,80,390. The national recovery rate improved to 60.86 per cent.
