Women Of Courage Award Conferred On 25 Personalities
in Odisha, Delhi, Bengaluru since last eight years celebrated
International Women’s Day on Thursday by conferring Women of Courage
Award on 25 women for their achievements in different sectors.
The awards was conferred on Dr Subhra Ghosh (Gynecologist), Minati Singha
(traffic police), Tapaswini Baliarsingh (traffic police), Tarulata
Nayak (conductor), Padmabati Dei (nurse), Sarojini Prusty (lecturer),
Binapani Choudhury (author), Sujata Singh (literature), Nibedita Lenka
(social activist), Suchitra Gupta (social welfare), Niroja Laxmi
Mohapatra (social activist), Sweta Mishra (sports department),
Madhumita Ray (education and social sector), Dr Kalpana Das (NCC),
Lubna Diana Mohanty (banker), Jayashreebala Mallick (program,
coordinator, NSS), Bharati Chakra (state head, Help Age India), Abha
Mishra (state head, UNDP), Kirti Mishra (state head, CRS), Gourimani
Biswal (Red Cross), Lopamudra Pradhan (entrepreneur), Supreety Mishra
(entrepreneur) and Lipsa Hans (entrepreneur).The event was graced by Bhubaneswar Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, DGM,

Academy Sanghamitra Mohanty and Chairman of Punya Utkal Odisha

panel has shortlisted 25 women from Odisha for Women of Courage Award
2018.”
