Jaipur: BJP MLA from Rajsamand in Rajasthan, Kiran Maheshwari died while undergoing treatment for coronavirus at a Gurgaon hospital late on Sunday night. She was 59.
The three-time MLA was undergoing treatment at Medanta hospital for the past few days.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Assembly Speaker CP Joshi, BJP state president Satish Poonia and other leaders expressed condolences on her demise.
