Bureaucratic Reshuffle: Senior IAS Officer Vineel Krishna Appointed Special Secretary To Odisha CM

Bhubaneswar: In a bureaucratic reshuffle on Friday, Odisha government appointed senior IAS officer Vineel Krishna as the special secretary to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

According to a notification of General Administration and Public Grievances department, Krishna is allowed to remain in additional charge of special secretary to government, Sports and Youth Services department. At present, he holds the posts of managing director of Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC) with additional charge of Director Sports, MD OMECL, Bhubaneswar and OSD in the office of the Chief Minister (COVID management).

Puri collector Balwant Singh will replace Krishna as the managing director of OMC while Kendrapada collector Samarth Varma has been appointed as Puri collector. Amrit Ruturaj, project director, DRDA, Rayagada has been appointed as Kendrapada collector in place of Verma.

Vishal Singh, Special ADM, Khurda (In-charge of COVID management) is the new project director, DRDA, Jajpur.

Md Sadique Alam, ED, CMGI, Bhubaneswar will remain in additional charge of Director, Industries in addition to his own duties.

Parul Patawari, Special ADM, Bhubaneswar (in-charge of COVID management) with additional charge of Additional Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has been appointed as deputy secretary, Works department.
