COVID-19 Vaccination: 2nd Round Of Dry Run Held At 110 Centres In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The second round of the dry run of COVID-19 vaccination was conducted across the state as a part of nationwide programme on Friday.

Bijay Panigrahi, Director, Health and Family Welfare department told the media that the dry run was conducted at 110 centres in 30 districts and municipal corporations from 9 am to 12 noon. At least 25 health workers got dummy vaccines at each site, he added.

The centres were opened at one Sub-Divisional Hospital (SDH) or Community Health Centre (CHC), one Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) and Urban Community Health Centre (UCHC) in each district.

Besides, the exercise was held in all medical college and hospitals and 11 private hospitals, said Panigrahi.

The first phase of the dry run for the vaccination in the state was conducted in 31 places on January 2.
