COVID-19: India Records 3.6 Lakh New Cases, 3293 Deaths
New Delhi: India’s new COVID-19 casualties hit an overwhelming peak with 3,293 people dying in the last 24 hours. A total of over 3.6 lakh were infected with the deadly virus pushing the tally to over 1.79 crore.
This is the seventh successive day that more than three lakh cases have been reported in India. The fresh casualties take the country’s toll to 2,01,187.
Maharashtra is the worst affected state with the highest COVID tally. It reported a record 895 new COVID-linked deaths on Tuesday.
