Rairangpur: In a broad daylight heist, unidentified miscreants on Saturday looted cash from former MLA of Rairangpur Saiba Sushil Kumar Hansdah.
Sources said that Hansdah was on his way to Brahmanabosh village under Bahalda police limits in Mayurbhanj district on a two-wheeler when three bike-borne miscreants suddenly attacked him with an iron rod. When Hansdah fell down, the miscreants snatched away Rs 80,000 and fled the area.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and began a manhunt to nab the miscreants.
