After Over 4 Years Of Wait, Akash Dasnayak’s ‘Herogiri’ To Hit Odisha Theatres Next Month!

Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor Akash Dasnayak’s much-awaited movie ‘Herogiri’ will be released soon.

“It is a romantic action movie with a huge star cast. The songs are very good. This movie will prove to be a turning point for the Odia films industry since no big-budget film has hit the theatres since long due to the COVID pandemic. It is one of my best action movies,” said Akash during the recent music release ceremony.

The gentleman of Ollywood industry, Akash, has been paired opposite actress Megha Ghosh in the movie in which he plays a journalist. Incidentally, Akash was a student of journalism in real life.

The story, penned by producer Satyapriya Behera, revolves around a carefree and daring youngster, who fights all odds for the sake of love.

Other star cast includes Samaresh, Pintu Nanda, Guddu, Snigdha Mohanty, Pushpa Panda, Bidusmita, Prakuti Mishra, late Salil Mitra, Minaketan and Debu Bose.

Aswini Gadnayak dons the hat of the director for this movie produced under the banner ‘Pratima Entertainment’.

Dr Nirmal Nayak has written the songs, screenplay and dialogues of the movie. The music has been composed by Abhijit Majumdar. Humane Sagar, Asima Panda, Binod Rathod, Pamela Jain and Swayam Padhi have rendered voice to the songs.

The movie has been in the making for over four years and will finally be released in December, sources said.
