Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning at several places in Odisha till 6 pm.
The warning is for some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur.
Earlier similar alerts were also sounded for some parts of Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts till 5 pm.
