New Delhi: The Subject Expert Committee (SEC) on COVID-19 in India CDSCO has recommended phase 3 clinical trial of Sputnik Light as a booster dose, PTI reported on Saturday.
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories had sent proposal to DCGI for conducting phase 3 trial of Russia’s single-dose COVID-19 vaccine as booster dose.

SEC’s recommendation will have to be approved by Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI).
DCGI last month granted emergency use permission to Sputnik Light in India, subject to certain regulatory provisions.
