Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here has forecast rainfall activity in Odisha till 8.30 am on April 14.
The MeT office has also issued yellow warning of thunderstorm with lightning for one or two places in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal and Gajapati till 8,30 am on April 10. Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati and Ganjam will experience similar weather conditions in the subsequent 24 hours.
According to the Saturday midday bulletin, light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Nawarangpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak till 8.30 am on April 10.
One or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nabarangpur, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj are also likely to experience rain between 8.30 am on April 10 and 8.30 am on April 11.
Light to moderate rain has been forecast for one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Ganjam and Mayurbhanj between 8.30 am on April 11 and 8.30 am on April 12.
Similar weather will prevail at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj and Balasore in the subsequent 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain is also likely to occur at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj between 8.30 am on April 13 and 8.30 am on April 14.
The IMD further said that there will be little change in the weather condition in the following days and the maximum temperature will remain 2 to 3°C above normal at a few places in interior Odisha during the next 4-5 days
