SP Keonjhar Tweets Concern Over Road Accidents
Keonjhar: SDPO Office Barbil recently tweeted about a traffic awareness programme conducted by Scouts of Mahtab High School Champua, under Champua police limits. The awareness programme was conducted as the number of road accidents had gone up in the area.

Keonjhar SP shared about one such incident on twitter.
we are very sad to inform that on 31.07.2018 (late night /early morning), four persons were killed in a single road accident near Deobandh under sadar Police station….reason being “sleep-deprived driving”/ sleepy driving/ drowsy driving.Accident due to sleepy driving is rising.

The SP had put up two more posts suggesting not to drive if one is drunk or drowsy.
He wrote, “Drowsy driving is equally dangerous as Drunken driving, take enough rest, drink twa/coffee, stop the vehicle.”

The SP adviced motorists to avoid late night driving with multiple images and slogans written big and bright on them.
