Patna: To all grooms who seek dowry for marriage, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has a question, “What if a man marries another man?”
Sending out a strong message against the evils of dowry, Nitish said, “There is nothing worse than taking dowry for marriage…”

“You will have kids only if you marry a woman. All of us here, we were born to mothers. Will anyone be born if a man marries another man,” he asked.
“And to marry, you ask for dowry. There is nothing more wrong than this,” he said.
He was speaking at the inauguration of a girls’ hostel in Patna.
