Bengaluru: It should have been a routine root canal treatment. Instead, it has turned out to be a nightmare for Kannada actress Swathi Sathish.
Pictures of an almost unrecognizable Swathi, with a swollen face, are doing the round on social media. Paparazzi photographer Viral Bhayani shared a before-after picture of Swathi on Instagram.

The right side of her face was swollen after the procedure, which is done to repair a damaged and infected tooth so that it doesn’t have to be extracted.
Doctors had assured the patient, saying that swelling was a common side-effect and will subside in a few hours.
However, nearly three weeks have passed, but Swathi’s condition has remained the same.
Upset with the clinic where she underwent the procedure, Swathi has accused doctors of medical negligence. According to a news channel, the actress is considering legal options.
She is currently consulting a different medical facility to treat her swollen face.
