Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor and producer Pupinder Singh’s wife Rupinder Kaur was granted conditional bail after she surrendered before Judicial Magistrate First Class (JFMC) court here on Friday in connection with a cheating case involving the couple.
Pupinder was earlier granted bail by the same court hours after his arrest on July 29.
The court had issued non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Pupinder and his wife after they failed to appear before it despite repeated summons in the case pertaining to non-repayment of loan.
According to reports, Pupinder and his wife had taken a loan of Rs 30 lakh from a mining company for their home production. They repaid Rs 5 lakh, but three cheques given by Pupinder bounced in the later phase following which the firm moved the court.
