New Delhi: Delhi Police arrested two terror-accused persons, including a juvenile, in connection with the May 9 attack at Punjab Police headquarters.
According to police, the juvenile was also tasked with ‘eliminating’ Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
The Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria syndicate assigned the juvenile along with Deepak Surakpur (absconding) and Monu Dagar (in jail) to eliminate Salman, police said.
The juvenile himself confessed that Lawrence Bishnoi gave him, Deepak and Monu the task to eliminate Salman.
Later, their primary target was changed to gangster Rana Kandowalia.
After Salman and his father Salim Khan received death threats in June, the actor was issued a weapon for self-defence.
His security was also ramped up and a police van deployed outside his residence.
A letter stating ‘Moosewala jaisa kar doonga (You will suffer the same fate as Moosewala)’ was found by Salim’s security team near Bandra Bandstand promenade, where he goes for daily morning jog.
