The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack saw the temperature drop to 16 degree Celsius and 16.4 degree Celsius respectively.

The MeT office attributed the fall in temperature across the state to dry and cold blowing from the northwest direction. The winter chill will continue with no likely change in the temperature for the next three to four days, it added.
