Well, you can witness such a sight at Ankur ground in the Madhya Pradesh capital.
Vedic pandits wearing traditional dhotis and kurtas walked out to the cricket pitch to take part in the ‘Maharshi Cup’, which is being organised to mark the birth anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
Pandits who perform rituals as per the Vedas and speak to each other in Sanskrit turned bowlers, batters and fielders for a change.
The on-ground commentary of the proceedings is also in Sanskrit. The umpires also converse in Sanskrit.

This aim of organising the Maharshi Cup, which is in its third year, is to promote ancient Sanskrit language and foster sportsmanship among the Vedic family.
Teams from several Vedic institutions from across the country are participating in the four-day tournament, reported PTI.
Besides cash prizes for winning teams, players will also be presented Vedic books and a 100-year panchang (almanac).
