Mysore Youth In Odisha After Walking Through 6 States To Promote Yoga, Eco Protection
Jajpur: A 29-year-old youth from Mysore of Karnataka reached Odisha’s Jajpur on Tuesday after walking through six states with a mission to promote yoga, pranayam and create awareness on environment protection.
Having kicked off his foot journey on October 16, 2022, Krishna has been visiting major religious places and schools and training children on yoga and pranayam, apart from creating awareness on protection of environment. He also advises people to plant trees for a healthy living for all.
On Tuesday, he was seen walking around Maa Biraja temple in Jajur Town.
After having a darshan of the goddess, he claimed that he has covered 4,000 km by walking through seven states including Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
“On the way, I visit temples and religious places, meet children in schools. I train the children on yoga, pranayam and sensitise them abut the need for environment protection. I have also made children plant trees at many places. Now, 21 more states are yet to be visited,” he added.
After crossing Jagdalpur, he entered Odisha through Koraput where he was well received by locals. He further stated, “All along the way, I have received warm welcome from people of Odisha and in other states. When people in Odisha welcomed me by uttering Jai Jagannath, I am in high spirit. All have supported me on my mission. I was happy after visiting Puri Jagannath Temple, Konark Sun temple and Maa Biraja temple.”
He sounded confident of completing his mission by walking through 21 more states.
