Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan has announced the UNIFYD Festival, bringing together some of the biggest names in Indian music.
The lineup features celebrated singers Arijit Singh and Sonu Nigam, alongside Punjabi music star Karan Aujla.
Curated by Shah Rukh Khan, the festival aims to celebrate Indian music and culture while bringing together audiences from India, the Middle East and the wider South Asian diaspora.
The event is scheduled for March 20, 2027, at Etihad Live on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It will feature performances across multiple stages, with 15 artists expected to participate.
The organisers are yet to reveal the complete lineup, with more names expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Arijit, Sonu and Karan are the first three artists confirmed for the festival, bringing distinct musical styles to the same stage.
While Arijit is known for his soulful romantic numbers, Sonu has delivered numerous hits that continue to resonate with listeners across generations.
Karan, meanwhile, brings his signature Punjabi sound and contemporary chartbusters to the lineup.
The combination of these artists is expected to appeal to a diverse audience, reflecting the festival’s aim of celebrating Indian music across generations and genres.
UNIFYD Festival will be produced by D’YAVOL Live, the live entertainment and cultural arm of luxury collective D’YAVOL, in collaboration with District, an entertainment and ticketing platform.
Sharing his vision for the festival, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I’ve spent a lifetime telling stories on screen and watching them bring people together. Music has that same extraordinary power.”
