Coromandel Accident: Check Helpline Nos Set Up By SER

Kolkata: South Eastern Railway have opened a number of Helpline numbers of stations in Odisha and West Bengal following the accident in Balasore on Friday evening.

Anxious relatives and acquaintances of people who were travelling in the two accident-hit trains can call the following Helpline numbers at different stations:

According to an SER press release, “the 12864 Sir M Visveswaraya Terminal-Howrah Superfast Express got derailed at Bahanaga Bazar station (Balasore district) of Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway at about 1900 hrs on June 2 and entangled with 12841 Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express. Accident Relief trains with medical equipment and doctors have been rushed to the site from Kharagpur and Bhadrak.”

Additional General Manager, SER, along with other Principal Heads of departments have also left for the site.
