Directing the officials to submit a report on the infrastructure of all schools and colleges in the district, Pandian, who was on a visit to Rayagada, said all Higher Secondary schools and colleges will be transformed under 5T within 6 months.

During his visit to the district headquarters hospital, Pandian interacted with the patients and the doctors and discussed the problems faced by them. He also instructed the officials to speed up the modernisation works of the hospital under Ama Hospital scheme of the government.

The secretary also inspected the works of the under-construction indoor stadium and directed to complete the construction works soon.

Pandian went to Maa Majhi Ghariani Temple in the town and offered puja to the deity. Following meeting with the servitors and management members of the temple, he told the officials to submit a detailed project report (DPR) on its beautification within one month so that the construction work can start within 6 months.

He revealed that exemption of the land premium for land exchange with Indian Railways for the Temple will be accorded approval soon.
