Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a nowcast warning with yellow message (Be updated) for Rayagada and Gajapati districts of Odisha.
It said light to moderate rain, thunderstorm with lightning and wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph likely to affect some parts of Rayagada and Gajapati districts by 11 pm.
The MeT office advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
