Tragedy In US: Indian-Origin Couple & Twin Sons Found Dead In California Home

New Delhi: Four members of a family were found dead in the US on Tuesday.

The tragedy occurred at their California home in San Mateo city.

The deceased were identified as Anand Sujith Henry (42), his wife Alice Priyanka Benziger (40) and their 4-year-old twin boys Noah and Neithan, according to a NBC Bay Area report.

The Indian-American couple, originally from Kerala, was found dead with gunshot wounds in a bathroom, while the lifeless bodies of the twin boys were found in a bedroom.

A 9mm pistol and a loaded magazine were found at the scene.

Police found the bodies after a relative of the family sought a welfare check because nobody in the house was attending phone calls.

The case is still under investigation, with police piecing together everything to find a motive for the deaths. Authorities, however, believe it to be a murder-suicide.

No suicide note was found at the scene.

IT professionals Anand and Alice had been living in the US for past nine years. Anand used to work as software engineer, while Alice was a senior analyst.

It’s the second such incident in less than two months, which has shocked the local community.

In December, Indian-origin couple Rakesh Kamal (57) and Teena (54), along with their teenaged daughter Ariana, were found dead in their mansion in Massachusetts. According to authorities, the deaths were due to a ‘domestic violence’ situation.
