SOA Institutes, 5 Departments Of SUM Hospital Receive Times Now Business Excellence Award

Bhubaneswar: Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) and Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), faculties of engineering and management sciences of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University, were honoured with the Times Now Business Excellence Award (East) for 2024 after being chosen as the best in eastern region.

Five departments of the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, SOA’s faculty of medicine, were adjudged the best in Odisha. The departments honoured are Oncology, Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Urology, Neurology and Nephrology.

Bollywood actor and social activist Sonu Sood, actor Parambrata Chatterjee and Alliance Francaise du Bengale Director Nicolas Facino presented the awards at a ceremony held in a Kolkata hotel on Wednesday.

SOA’s Controller of Examination Prof. Manjula Das and Public Relations Officer Subhadarshini Mishra received the awards on behalf of the university.
