Rairangpur: A half-burnt body of a youth was found on the roadside at Dandabosa village under Town Police limits of Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district on Monday.
It is suspected that the miscreants killed him and burnt his body to hide his identity.
However, some locals spotted the body on the roadside of NH-220 and informed the police.
According to preliminary investigation, the youth was stoned to death due to some past enmity. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. The police have sent the body for post mortem and started investigation into the matter.
