Vicky’s ‘Chhaava’ Eyes New Release Date To Avoid Clash With ‘Pushpa: The Rule’
Mumbai: The upcoming Vicky Kaushal-starrer ‘Chhaava’ is eyeing a new release date to avoid box-office clash with the second instalment of Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Pushpa franchise ‘Pushpa: The Rule.’
The teaser of Vicky’s periodical drama ‘Chhaava’ has already sparked excitement among movie buffs.
A simultaneous release with the much-awaited ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ next month might leave the audience divided. Hence, the filmmakers are mulling rescheduling the release of ‘Chhaava’, according to a Mid-Day report.
Meanwhile, the makers of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ shared a poster on X and wrote, “The wait gets shorter. 50 days to witness Pushpa Raj and his blockbuster rule Pushpa 2: The Rule will be A NEW ERA OF INDIAN CINEMA THE RULE IN CINEMAS on 6th DEC 2024. 50 Days To Pushpa 2 Storm.”
Besides Allu and Rashmika Mandanna, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ stars Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh and Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari in important roles.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, which is a sequel to ‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ revolves around the challenges faced by Pushpa (Allu Arjun) in red sandalwood smuggling and how he rises to power.
‘Chhaava’, on the other hand, will see Vicky portraying the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who fought like a brave soldier.
