Keonjhar: Shaktikanta Das, Principal Secretary-2 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Saturday visited Maa Tarini temple at Ghatgaon in Keonjhar district.
He was accompanied by his wife.

According to sources, Keonjhar Collector Vishal Singh and other senior officials received them as they arrived at the temple at 11 am. The temple administration also presented Das with a ceremonial paddy-crafted idol of Maa Tarini. “My wife and I are ardent devotees of Maa Tarini. This visit fulfils our heartfelt wish to receive her blessings for our family and everyone,” he told the media.

He thanked the administration for facilitating a seamless temple visit.
Das had arrived on a three-day visit to Odisha on April 17 evening.
