Balasore: The excise sleuths on Wednesday seized 637 litres of illicit liquor and arrested two persons from Nilagiri in Balasore district.
While 630 litres of foreign liquor filled in seven tubes were seized from one Sunil Singh’s house at Dengasahi village under Jadia panchayat, 7 litres of Indian liquor was seized from Baidhar Singh of Mitrapur village.
In a separate incident, police seized tonnes of illegal manganese from a vehicle at Rugudi area in Keonjhar district. The driver and helper fled the spot during the raid.
