The Chief Secretary delivered introductory remarks outlining the objectives of the events, while Principal Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department Sanjay Kumar Singh provided details about the programs.

The events aim to raise public awareness about the effective implementation of various government schemes, their objectives, and the benefits of welfare programs.

To commemorate the government’s one-year milestone, the Information and Public Relations Department will publish a booklet highlighting the notable achievements of various departments.

Other departments have also been advised to release their own booklets detailing their successes.
These publications will emphasise themes such as women’s empowerment and Mission Shakti, agriculture, farmers, and irrigation, industrial growth and employment, Odia identity and Shree Jagannath Temple, people-centric governance, health, and education. These will also showcase the significant achievements of central government welfare schemes in Odisha, the state’s commitment to uplifting scheduled tribes, differently-abled individuals, and marginalized communities, as well as efforts to address malnutrition. The role of gram panchayats in rural development will be a key focus.

Departments have been instructed to publicize success stories related to their schemes through newspapers, media, and authentic video content.

A booklet titled “Pragati Prabaha” (Flow of Progress) will be released, detailing how the public has benefited from various government initiatives. Departments are encouraged to contribute success stories for this publication. Additionally, the Culture Department, in collaboration with Lalit Kala Academy, will organize an artists’ camp (painting workshop).

In line with the vision of a developed Odisha by 2036 and a developed India by 2047, Chief Secretary Ahuja suggested holding competitions among students in schools and colleges to share their aspirations, with winners being awarded.
