Hyderabad: SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film ‘SSMB29’, starring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra, has a new member on board.
Adding to the thrill of fans, the highly-anticipated movie will also feature R Madhavan, according to a report in Moneycontrol.
Details of Madhavan’s role are still under wraps, but it has been learnt that the actor will be playing an important and powerful role in the film.
The film, expected to be one of the biggest Indian films, is currently under production and is being shot in multiple international locations.
Mahesh and Priyanka have already shot several scenes in Hyderabad and Odisha.
Written by Rajamouli’s father, noted screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad, and bankrolled by veteran filmmaker KL Narayana, the film is being made on an estimated budget of Rs 1,000 crore.
The film, reported to be a mix of mythology, adventure, and grand visuals, is expected to be released in theatres worldwide in 2027.
