Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has temporarily suspended all admission activities for two-year B.Ed. (Arts/Science), B.H.Ed., and M.Ed programmes for the academic year 2025-26.
The Higher Education Department has issued an order in this regard.
This move comes following allegations of discrepancies in entrance test scores, prompting the department to direct the State Selection Board (SSB) to constitute subject-wise expert committees for re-verification of answer keys.
Pending completion of this process, all admission activities for the said courses are temporarily suspended. The revised admission schedule will be notified on the SAMS portal (https://te.samsodisha.gov.in/) and through leading newspapers, the order said.
Students and institutions are advised to stay updated only through the official channels, it added.
