Over the years, the Institute has become a symbol of trust not only in Odisha but also in the neighbouring states, fulfilling its mission of bridging regional disparities in tertiary health care.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar’s commitment to excellence is evident in its recent recognitions. The national institute has been ranked 12th among top medical colleges and second among emerging medical colleges in the India Today-MDRA Survey 2025. The institute has become the second choice of NEET-qualified candidates nationwide, after AIIMS New Delhi.

Besides, AIIMS-Bhubaneswar secured 15th rank in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024, up from 31st in 2021.
