Bhubaneswar: Rain accompanied by thundershower, lightning and gusty wind is likely to lash at least eight districts of Odisha on Monday night, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 9.25 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Rayagada, Gajapati, Nuapada, Bargarh, Sonepur, Balangir, Sundargarh and Koraput districts for three hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and be ready to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
