Bhubaneswar: Rain accompanied by thunderstorm, lightning and gusty wind is likely to lash at least 19 districts of Odisha by Saturday evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 2.58 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Angul, Balangir, Balasore, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jajapur, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Rayagada, Sambalpur, and Sundargarh districts.

Moderate rain and thunder/ lightning wind 30-40kmph may occur at a few places over these districts in next three hours, it said.
