Bhubaneswar: One more person succumbed to swine flu on Sunday, taking the death toll to 36 in the state this season. The death of a 80-year-old man was reported from SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
On the other hand, only one of the 19 swabs sent for examination was found infected with the viral influenza. This fresh case too was reported from SCB, where the 31-year-old woman from Jajpur is undergoing treatment.
So far, 346 of 1043 samples have tested positive for the H1N1 virus, health department sources said.
