Mayurbhanj: A youth was electrocuted after he came in contact with a live electric wire in Rasamatala village under Karanjia police limits in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Sambhu Nayak.
According to sources, the incident took place on Saturday afternoon when Sambhu was connecting a wire to an electric pole for a school function. He came in contact with an 11-KV electricity wire and died on the spot.
On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.
